Frozen Pipes

This is the time of year when low temperatures can cause low or no water. Before you call us, try these simple steps:

Check under your house and see if there are any broken pipes visible, or water spraying from pipes. If so, throw the breaker to the pump to stop the leak and call A Complete Pump.

If that is ok, go to the well itself. If you can remove the well cover, look underneath and see if there are any broken pipes at the top of the well. Do you have insulation? If there are no broken pipes, use a blow dryer to melt the ice, or put a space heater or heat lamp (at least 100 watts) and wait an hour or so. If there is still no water flowing, call A Complete Pump.
